The site is located in a predominantly residential neighborhood having other facilities like civic , healthcare and commercial necessities. The area having several major commercial structures attracts users from all around the city and creates a mixed-use character along the major connecting arteries of the area.
Design strategies: Although the program of the complex will mainly be office of entirely private use, the idea was to develop an office complex of 15 bigha land area in a manner to create public interaction and dialogue in terms of engagement through programs and visual presence. To achieve this dichotomous character of the complex of being a private office complex and at the same time engaging the surrounding neighborhood, we had to decide on some guiding principles and set up some design strategies.
Design Strategies:
- Extensive use of green, running track, solar panels as an alternative source of energy
- Footprint that has been occupied by the building on the ground level should be compensated with green roof
- Ensuring privacy
- Semipublic character allowing pedestrian flow, ease of pedestrian connectivity, visual connection through View corridors
- Amenities on the ground level to connect with the neighborhood
- Connection to water
The program of the complex varied to a large range of public to private nature activities
- Programs of public use: Tech Park, Experience Center, Robotic Design Studio, It Ground, Gaming Arena/Sports Valley, Technical & Digital Archives, VR Meeting Rooms, Augmented Reality Exhibition Spaces, Mechanical Workshops, Training Centers, Food Court
- Programs of private use: Mobile & Formal Office Spaces, Formal Meeting Spaces, Conference Zones, Separate Lab Blocks, Collaboration Hubs, Work Spaces/Open Offices, Plant Room/Mechanical Zones, Director’s Zone, Formal Dining & Kitchen, Rooftop Mini Golf Course, Penthouse, Viewing Boxes/Terrace, Helipad
